Our ancestors went through a lot for us to be here today. Now it is up to us to represent them and to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. This Labor Day, the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah is representing our Native ancestors with a float.
We ask for your support. We are looking for dancers and walkers to represent our Boarding School Children and Missing & Murdered People. For those interested, please wear your regalia or shawl. In addition, we are looking for individuals to help decorate the float. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Due to the difficulty of transporting the float to Parowan, we will be meeting at 7AM on September 6 to decorate the float. All individuals who wish to dance or walk should meet at 9AM.
