The National Day of Service & Remembrance will be held this upcoming week on September 11th, 2022. The Tribe and PITU plan to honor this day on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Unlike last year, we won't have an organized service activity in each area. This year we are inviting everyone to participate in community service on Friday as an annual tribute to the 9/11/01 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks. For those who participate, we invite you to share images on social media tagging @PaiuteIndianTribeofUtah. Let us all do our part to make the world a little brighter!

As a reminder, the PITU Tribal Administration Offices and all FourPoints Health clinics will be closed on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, September 6th.

Mark your calendars for the inauguration of Mindy Benson, the 17th President of Southern Utah University to be held on September 23, 2022 at 3p.m. at the America First Event Center in Cedar City, UT. The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah congratulates Mindy on this new adventure. She has been a close ally.
