Southern Paiute Name: Kuh'eyokomp Scientific Name: Sphaeralcea ambigua Globemallow is a orange desert wildflower and was ancestrally used to treat cuts, stomach aches, infections and colds. Animals that enjoy eating the flowers are the desert tortise, big horn sheep and native bees. Watch for other words that relate to this beautiful flower. Please properly research how to process wild plants or have an experienced individual with you before cultivating and processing.
