PITU Members Wanted for Photoshoot!

The Tribe has partnered with the CDC and a photography agency for a photoshoot highlighting members of The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. The shoot will take place in St. George on Monday, May 9th, 2022 and Tuesday, May 10th, 2022.

We are looking for PITU adults, families, and teenagers who are willing to be photographed in a variety of scenes!

Participants will be compensated for their time. If you are interested in participating, please email media@utahpaiutes.org for more information.

$1.9 Million Awarded to PITU for New Cedar City Clinic!

Gina M. Raimondo, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.9 million grant to the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah for construction of the new Cedar City Community Health Center. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan Indigenous Communities program.

The Tribe is deeply honored and thankful for this funding. We look forward to building a critical healthcare facility that will enhance our ability to respond to future healthcare issues.

Springdale Fundraiser

The Restoration Gathering Committee will be having a Taco Sale at the Earth Day Celebration in Springdale, UT.

The Taco Sale will begin at 12 pm and last until approximately 2 pm (or while supplies last).
