July Tribal Council Recap

July 15, 2022

Tribal Council was held on Monday at 10:00 am. The Tribal Council unanimously passed Resolution No. 2022-13 – 2022 Five County Association of Governments Multi-Jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan Adoption.

We have been working with Five County Association of Governments for the past year to provide specific input related to our reservation areas for the Hazard Mitigation Plan. Five County Association of Governments submitted the plan to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and it was approved. The Tribe has now adopted this plan. This will help the Tribe reduce long-term risks from natural hazards.

The next Tribal Council will be held on August 8th, 2022. All are invited to attend and participate in the monthly Tribal Council meetings.
