Attention all Native Elders! Mark your calendars to head out to Shivwits on Friday, Nov. 21, for a luncheon and bingo! And FourPoints Health newest physician assistant, Tyler Carter, will be at the party giving flu shots to any FourPoints health patients.
Individuals aged 65 and older face a higher risk for complications associated with the flu. While receiving the vaccine does not guarantee complete immunity, it generally results in milder symptoms compared to those who are unvaccinated.
Besides protecting yourself from the flu this season, all PITU Elders ages 55+ will get a jacket for attending. Limited transportation will be available from Cedar City. See the flyer and reach out to Rebecca for more information or to reserve your spot in the van.
