Happy summer! The June solstice arrived earlier this week on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 marking the astronomical first day of summer. As we enter the summer months, we want to remind everyone of these four tips for a healthy summer:1. Stay hydrated. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, even if you don’t feel thirsty. 2. Stay protected by wearing sunscreen and hats with wide brims. 3. Watch for signs of heat stress. Signs of heat-related illness include: muscle cramps, heavy sweating, confusion, rapid pulse, and high body temperatures. 4. Stay cool. Stay in air-conditioned locations as much as possible. Avoid staying in hot cars.
