HOW TO GET EMERGENCY CARE

What happens when emergency services are required?

Does the emergency require immediate treatment or threaten life or limb?

For emergencies such as a serious illness or injury that could threaten your life, a limb, or your health if not treated immediately, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Are you unsure if immediate treatment is needed?

For non-emergency medical concerns, PRC-eligible members should contact FourPoints Health before seeking Emergency Room care. Whether the clinic is open or closed, you can speak with a provider who can assess your symptoms, determine the appropriate level of care, and advise whether you should be seen in the clinic or seek emergency treatment.

Will PRC cover my ER Visit?

Notify the Member Service team within 72 hours after being discharged from an Emergency Room visit. This notification can come from anyone with knowledge of the situation. All Emergency Room visits are subject to PRC eligibility and medical review to determine coverage.

Follow Up Visit

After visiting the Emergency Room, please schedule a follow-up appointment with FourPoints Health. This appointment allows your provider to review your treatment, coordinate any necessary referrals, help you obtain authorizations/PO numbers, and manage any prescribed medications.
