FAMILY CRISIS ASSISTANCE
The Family Crisis Assistance Program provides short-term support to tribal members experiencing emergency needs. Assistance includes food vouchers of up to $50 per family or $30 per child, elder, or disabled adult (whichever is greater). Vouchers are available once every six months or twice a year as we have funding.
In addition, hygiene and other essential emergency items such as diapers, shampoo, and blankets may be distributed based on availability through our food pantry on a case-by-case basis. Hygiene and food pantry assistance is limited to no more than three times per year, and all recipients are required to complete an application, with services tracked to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
