ANNOUNCEMENT: FOOD ASSISTANCE RESOURCES

We understand these are challenging times, especially with the ongoing government shutdown impacting SNAP benefits and increasing food insecurity. Additionally, the Tribe has been informed that if the shutdown is not resolved by Nov. 1, EBT cards may not work, even if there is a balance on the card.

The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah recognizes these hardships and, although our resources are limited, we are committed to assisting families to the best of our ability.

If you are experiencing food insecurity, please call 2-1-1 in your area or reach out to your local food banks and pantries for immediate assistance (see resources below).

If you need additional help, please contact Family Services at (435) 586-1112. We will do our best to support you within our capacity. Together, we can help ensure our community members receive the support they need during these difficult times.
