Several areas of central and southern Utah are currently under either a Public Safety Power Shutoff Watch or Warning.
NOTE: A “watch” is the lowest risk and means the “area is being monitored for elevated weather conditions that could possibly lead to a Public Safety Power Shutoff.” A “warning” means that a power shutoff is “likely or imminent.”
Currently, the only Band areas that may be immediately impacted are Cedar and Indian Peaks (to see the Rocky Mountain Power map, click here)
In the event of a power shutoff, a community resource center will be set up at the Heritage Center at 105 N. 100 East in Cedar City.
