PITU Tribal Council meeting was held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022. Here are the individuals who presented at this month’s Tribal Council Meeting:-Ozzy Escarate, State of Utah-Tamera Dawes, Bureau of Indian Affairs-Steven Lee, Boarding Schools Research Update-Alastair Lee Bitsoi, High Country News-Tyler Goddard, Tribal Health Director-Shane Parashonts, Tribal AdministratorThe winner of the SUU Portrait which will be displayed at their Hall of Honor was also revealed; the winner was the Group Portrait of key individuals involved in the Restoration of the Tribe! Thank you so much to everyone who voted. We look forward to seeing these individuals honored there. The next Tribal Council Meeting will be held on Monday, November 7th, 2022 at 10am.
