Keitti is the PITU Environmental Program Coordinator and has been working for the Tribe since September 2022. She says she loves her role because she is able to learn so much about the environment and then collaborate with other team members to provide events for Tribal members where she can share that information.
Keitti has lived in Utah her whole life. She says that when she’s not working, she loves taking pictures, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family fishing, hiking, driving, eating, working in the yard, and laughing. In general, she says, “I love to learn and try new things.”
Keitti has a 19-year-old son, and speaking of family, something unique about her is that her mother is from Palau, an island county in the Western Pacific north of Australia. “So I am exactly half South Pacific Islander and half Paiute.” Well, everyone here things she’s exactly 100% awesome!
