Herendira joined the FourPoints Health Cedar City team three years ago this month. She is one of the dental assistants and says her favorite part of the job is being able to help so many people, many of whom haven’t been able to receive care elsewhere because of financial difficulties. She also really appreciates her co-workers. “It’s like I have a whole other set of family and friends.”
Herendira was born in Michigan, but she has lived in Cedar City most of her life. Along these lines, she doesn’t just live here. She says another part of her job that is important to her is making an impact in the town where she grew up.
When she’s not working, Herendira enjoys spending time with family, going to the gymn, and “anything and everything outdoors.” She especially enjoys running – so much so that she recently ran in the Boston Marathon and has already re-qualified for the coming year’s race as well.
