Glen is a primary care provider serving patients at both the Cedar City and SUU FourPoints Health clinics. Glen has been with FourPoints since 2016, but he started working in health care in 2006 as an EMT on an ambulance and has continued to expand his education and experience for the past 18 years. He said the most rewarding part of his job is making people feel better, “whether it is just a decrease in fatigue or a lifesaving treatment.”

Glen has lived in Utah for a little over 40 years. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and during his time in the service, he lived at two different duty stations—Ft. Benning, Georgia, and Baumholder, Germany—and was also deployed to different countries.

Glen has seven kids—six boys and one girl—who range in age from 4 to 22. He also houses quite the menagerie of animals (“I don’t know the names; they belong to the kids”) including “a dog, a cat, a couple sugar gliders, a couple hamsters, a bird that isn’t a chicken, actual chickens, and a few rabbits (that aren’t food).”

When he is isn’t working, parenting, or zoo-tending, Glen enjoys shooting sports, hiking, camping, and playing the viola. Quite the Renaissance man.
