Dr. Stewart joined the FourPoints Health Cedar City dental team this summer after working in our Richfield clinic for the past 2 1/2 years. Although he grew up and went to college in Cedar, he attended dental school in Chicago and also lived in Alaska on and off for 20 years.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Stewart enjoys raising beagles (he currently has two: Buster and Buddy). Another hobby is reloading, which is the process of recycling spent cartridges (in Dr. Stewart’s case, pistol and rifle calibers) by disassembling them and reusing the components. He also has his pilot’s license and over 900 flying hours. He enjoys two-wheeled transportation as well, both leg-powered and motor driven. In fact, he fondly recalls a motorcycle trip from Utah to Mississippi to Illinois and back to Utah. That’s a lot of miles for a Honda CB400 Hawk!
Dr. Stewart says some of his favorite parts about his job are “the pleasant work environment and friendly staff.” Cedar City is glad to have him back home.
