If you are on Medicare or participate in the Health Insurance Marketplace, make sure to note the following dates and information:
For Medicare:
- Oct. 15 to Dec. 7: Anyone with Medicare can change their Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs.
- Note: If you qualify for Medicare, one of our Outreach and Enrollment Specialists may be reaching out to discuss different pharmacy plan options.
For Health Insurance Marketplace:
- Nov. 1, 2024: Open Enrollment starts. This is the first day you can enroll in, renew, or change Marketplace plans.
- Dec. 15, 2024: Last day to enroll in or change plans for coverage starting Jan. 1.
- Jan. 15, 2025: Open Enrollment ends. This is the last day to enroll in or change Marketplace plans for the year with coverage starting Feb. 1.
- Note: Tribal members who buy a Marketplace plan and whose income is between 100% and 300% of the federal poverty level can enroll in a “zero cost sharing” plan. This means you won’t have to pay any out-of-pocket costs like deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance.
