Starting next Wednesday, Aug 21, and running every Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. through Oct. 23 (except Sept.18 and Oct. 2), the Family Support Center will be offering a free parenting class (including FREE CHILDCARE) covering the following topics:
• Having appropriate developmental expectations
• Expressing empathy in helping children get their needs met
• Employing the use of positive guidance practices
• Encouraging age-appropriate behavior
• Promoting children’s power & independence
