Orange Shirt Day

September 29 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

In honor of Orange Shirt Day (usually on September 30th), we will be walking from the PITU Pow Wow grounds through the Cedar City Village on Friday, September 29th.

Everyone is encouraged to join the walk and wear an orange shirt! Orange Shirt Day is a day observed by Native American communities across North America to reflect and remember those we have lost to the Indian Boarding School system, as well as those who are still affected by the atrocities that the boarding school system imposed upon their lives.
