URGENT NOTICE TO ALL BAND CANDIDATES THAT HAVE BEEN NOMINATED TO RUN FOR THE TRIBAL COUNCIL MEMBER/BAND CHAIR OFFICE FOR 2025-2029.
If you were nominated to run for a Band Chair, there are several important dates coming up soon! You must meet these deadlines in order for your name to appear on the ballot.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2024:
1. Please complete the Nominee Information Form by Friday, December 27, 2024.* If you received this paper form as part of your packet, please email it back to the elections@utahpaiutes.org. You can also fill out the form electronically by clicking here.
* This information is used only by the Election Board in case they need to contact you.
2. Pay the background check processing fee of $100. You can pay the processing fee by clicking here.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 3, 2025:
1. Once you have paid your processing fee, watch for an email from NationSearch with information about how to complete your background check online. This must be completed by Jan. 3, 2025.
